Who We Are
AI Brand Voice Generator is a free tool operated jointly by GenAI Unplugged (genaiunplugged.com) and CoWrite with AI (cowritewithai.com). This policy explains how we handle your data when you use the tool at brandvoice.genaiunplugged.com.
What We Collect
- Email address: Collected when you request access via magic link. Used to authenticate your session and deliver your brand voice profile.
- Writing samples: The text you paste or upload for analysis. These are sent to Google Gemini (AI) for processing and are not stored on our servers after your session ends.
- Session cookie: A cookie is set after magic link verification to maintain your session for 30 days. It contains only your email in encrypted form.
How We Use Your Email
- To send you a magic link for tool access
- To email you a copy of your generated brand voice profile
- We may import your email into the GenAI Unplugged and CoWrite with AI Substack newsletter lists. You can unsubscribe from either at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email.
Third-Party Services
- Google Gemini:Your writing samples are sent to Google's Gemini API for voice analysis. Google's AI privacy policy applies to this processing. We do not send your email address to Google.
- Amazon SES:Used to send emails (magic links and profile delivery). Amazon's privacy policy applies.
- Vercel:The app is hosted on Vercel. Vercel's privacy policy applies to hosting and infrastructure.
- Jina AI: If you provide a URL for content extraction, the URL is sent to Jina Reader API to fetch the page content.
Data Retention
- Writing samples: Not stored. Processed in memory during your session and discarded.
- Generated profiles: Stored only in your browser session. Not saved on our servers.
- Email address: Retained for newsletter list import purposes unless you request deletion.
- Session cookie: Expires after 30 days.
Your Rights
You can:
- Request deletion of your email from our records
- Unsubscribe from either newsletter at any time
- Clear your session by deleting the browser cookie
